Eachine TX03

I needed a new small AIO style camera to just stick on some small models when I wanted to fly them FPV. So I went looking for what was current, and I found the Eachine TX03. An AIO camera and vtx. I would probably use this on something like my Flite Test Mighty Mini Tiny Trainer, or other models that size, and I am sure I can couple this up with a small single cell LiPo battery to make a decent short range backpack FPV unit. So, on to the features...

Caddx Dolphin

Caddx Dolphin

Scrolling through my Facebook feeds today and noticed this little gem, the Caddx Dolphin. The Caddx Dolphin is a "Box" style camera, similar in format to the Hero Session, Runcam 5, an the Foxeer Box 2 They announced this back in June, and it now looks like it is available.

ZOHD DartI picked up the PNP version of the ZOHD Dart, cause it was on sale, and cause I thought it could be a nice plane to fly in smaller fields. It assembles with no glue, uses magnets to hold everything together, and the motor, ESC, and servos are all installed and wired up. It even has a stabilizer, which looks very similar to the one in the RMRC Recruit, the stabilizer is probably the same one, maybe different gain settings. I will compare the two once it comes in.

EZ-WifiBroadcast collection of partsSo all the parts came in to do a test setup for EZ-WifiBroadcast HD FPV video. I have the two Raspberries, a Raspberry camera, two low power USB WiFi cards, two micro SD cards, and two adjustable voltage regulators.  All that is left is basic DIY parts, wire solder, etc... First step will be to set these up on the bench and plot out how I want to set them up for testing..

EZ-WifiBroadcast. Affordable HD FPV?

So, do I really need another project? Short answer, No! But the lure of high definition FPV (HDFPV) with better than 15km range and for less than $100 is really too strong to not at least take a look at how it works. Ez-WifiBroadcast seems to be a pretty simple DIY way of getting HDFPV from your aircraft, or other vehicle, back to your ground station.   Read more to see how......
